The Bucharest Industrial Park project was launched in 2000 and now consists of a plot of 102 hectares of land located in the Bolintin Deal commune, Giurgiu county, on the edge of Bucharest on the A1 Motorway.
The project followed the completion of a contracted PWC feasibility study for the construction of an industrial park exclusively able to benefit from the significant legally prevailing fiscal advantages.
In 2002, the landowner, Universal Property SRL, established a firm exclusively focused on the management of Bucharest Industrial Park, Universal Management SRL, which secured the official legal designation of "industrial park", issued by The Ministry of Development and Prognosis of the Romanian Government.
The main objective for the land is the creation of an industrial and logistics park tailored to stimulate local economic and social development, to include light non-polluting industry, technology transfer, assembly and distribution facilities.
The subsequent phase has been dedicated to the installation of infrastructure and the commencement of the construction of warehousing built to the highest European standards.
